I started as a self taught photographer 11 years ago. But before I committed my life to being a professional photographer, I had always been an extremely visual child with a very distinct connection with people.  I was born to creative parents who allowed me express my creativity on a daily basis, and as a child I was fascinated with old photographs and the stories they told. My mom, who is an artist of all trades, had always been really great at taking photographs of us as children and kept them in giant albums I would ask almost daily to look through. When I was in high school I took a photography class, and she lent me her 35mm Pentax camera. It was like my whole world opened up - the first time I developed my own photos I knew what I wanted to do. 

I was enthralled by what could be captured about someone's soul in a photo. Fast forward almost 20 years and that desire has become my obsession. After an entire lifetime of looking at images and learning to make the ordinary, extraordinary photographically, It's given me the ability to find the soul and emotions of people through my photographs. Intimate and intensive photographs because portraits should reflect who you are and what you would like to remember. Being a portrait photographer and capturing the essence of a person or couple while bringing an editorial influence, is the perfect combination of passion and challenge for me. 

Connection with others is my true joy. I'm a happy crier. Empathy is the ability to be able to feel what someone else is feeling and on wedding days, I feel like that is my super power.  Those emotions become so present to me during a wedding day because I make myself vulnerable to see them and translate your overall story. I'm so passionate about story telling because through the years I've seen how that is a vital artery of being a photographer. It's not just a visual thing but very much involves every sense to capture moments that move people.

I've been doing this for over a decade and the experience I've accrued and the passion I give to me work... I want to give you your memories in the best possible way. I take extreme pride in the work I offer to be special, unique and personal to our clients. 

I am currently only accepting small intimate weddings or destination weddings.
